Daijiworld Media Network - Mysuru (MS)

Mysuru, Jun 23: Karnataka police have arrested an elderly man from the city in connection with the hoax bomb threat call that was made to the BJP central office in New Delhi.

Senior citizen, Sukan Raj (85), a resident of Siddhartha Nagar in the city is the arrested person.

It is learnt that the arrested accused is mentally unsound. Police are investigating further.

It may be recalled that on June 22, the BJP central office in Ashoka Road, New Delhi received a call saying that a bomb was kept in the office. The police and bomb disposal squad had rushed to the spot immediately and checked the whole building. Later it was known that it was a hoax call.

Police, during the investigation, traced the call back to the city of Mysuru. For the same reason, the case was handed over to Karnataka police.

Frustration could possibly have driven this man to do this. Compared to the present day youngsters, octogenarians are much more principled and disciplined and are more concerned about the country. He must have seen how people are scampering for employment, how the economy is going down the drain, how efficient and patriotic bureaucrats and being forced to leave and how clueless this government is about the remedies to set these right.

Thank God this gentleman does not belong to minority!! Otherwise, regardless of his age or mental condition, he would have been dubbed as the God father of all crimes linked to ISIS!!

This is the difference in our country now with the cow government in power. If one belongs to majority then Saat Khoon Maaf.

Only Lord Brahma knows what is the truth.

The poor, old man looks far too frail and befuddled to even dream of doing anyone harm. I hope he is treated with gentleness , compassion and justice.

I think he has lot of issues at home. May be he is not treated well at home so he might have dicided to do some prank and get arrested. That way he can be in jail and spend rest of his life.
These days there are lot of elderly people who are not treated well at home.

I remember sometime ago, a lady from Mangalore called a number in Mumbai to speak to a known person. But, but error it connected to a Mangalore number. When received said hello, the lady said Bomb hai, Bomb hai, the receiver took it as a bomb threat and it became an issue.
Actually the lady was asking Bombay? Bombay? To make sure if it connected to Mumbai number.
Could be the same case with this Mysuru man.
