Mangaluru, May 16: St Theresa Church, Paldane celebrated Nursing Day recently.
Twelve nurses who are serving from church limits were felicitated after morning Mass. Parish priest Fr Vincent Victor Menezes while honouring the nurses said that the service of nurses is equal to service of God.
St Joseph Engineering College deputy director Fr Rohith D’ Costa and vice president of parish pastoral council Roshan Lasrado were present.
Nurses Helen Lobo, Lavina Pinto, Roopa Vanita Thoras, Tresa Fernandes, Sabina Menezes, Flavia Alvares, Anet Vas, Jacinta Walder, Babita Pereira, Jobita, Sangeeta Crasta and Jyothi Anita D’ Souza were felicitated on the occasion.
