Bantwal: Silver jubilee celebration of Catholic Sabha Mogarnad ends on high note

Bantwal, Apr 25: The valedictory function of the silver jubilee celebration of Mogarnad unit of Catholic Sabha Mangaluru was held recently at the premises of Mother of God Church Mogarnad.

Parish priest of the church Fr Dr Mark Castelino blessed and inaugurated the auditorium that was donated to the church in memory of the silver jubilee celebration by CSM Mogarnad unit.

The stage programme was presided over by Fr Dr Mark Castelino. Rolfy D'Costa, Mangaluru central president of Catholic Sabha, assistant parish priest Fr Deepak D'Sa. superior of Mother of God Convent Sr Lucy Gretta, president of Catholic Sabha Bantwal regional committee Stany Lobo, president of Catholic Sabha Mogarnad Antony D'Souza, executive president of MCC bank Anil Lobo Permai, executive president of BCC bank Herald D'Souza, vice-president of parish pastoral council of Mother of God church Janet Vaz and secretary Edwin Pasanna were present.

Former president of Mogarnad unit of Catholic Sabha Mangaluru Steevan D'Souza and other prominent achievers were felicitated on the occasion.

President of CSM, Mogarnad Ajay Pais welcomed the gathering. Noel Lobo introduced the guests to the audience and compered the programme. Secretary of CSM, Mogarnad Stany Pinto rendered the vote of thanks.

Bailoor artistes presented the Tulu comedy drama 'Buddhi Chapat' directed by Bailoor Prasanna Shetty on the occasion.
