Bengaluru, Apr 20: Kannada actress, Ramya, who heads social media cell of All India Congress Committee, as well as sitting MP and Congress candidate from Ballari Lok Sabha constituency, V S Ugrappa, are being trolled in social media for failing to participate in polling.

Several including BJP leader, Suresh Kumar, have questioned Ramya for remaining aloof from voting. He has drawn attention of Ramya to the fact that her name exists in the list of voters in Mandya. He also has mentioned the fact that she has not voted in assembly, Lok Sabha bypoll, and the current election. In a wry comment, he hailed Ramya for this hat trick performance.

Social media have also been agog with discussions about Ugrappa's failure to exercise his franchise although he is listed as a voter under Bommanahalli assembly constituency. In a tweet, BJP leader, K S Eshwarappa, noted that Congress MP, V S Ugrappa, and social media head of Congress party, Ramya, have stayed away from the polling process. He has mocked at the Congress for giving others lessons about responsibilities in a democracy when its own leaders do not believe in them.
