Mangaluru: Yemmekere Friends Circle, Blood Helpline hold blood donation camp

Mangaluru, Apr 1: Yemmekere Friends Circle, Bolar, Mangaluru and Blood Helpline Karnataka held a mass blood donation camp in association with Red Cross society blood bank on Yemmekere ground, on Sunday, March 31.

Bolar Juma Masjid Khateeb B K Ilyas Bakhavi inaugurated the camp. Rozario College principal Fr Rocky Fernandes was present as chief guest.

As many as 31 people donated blood. Red Cross society blood bank hospital doctors and staff cooperated in collecting blood.

Salam Yemmekere, Krishnananda Shetty Yemmekere, Nishad Yemmekere, Amith Shetty Yemmekere, advocate Dinaker Shetty, Blood Helpline Karnataka manager Nisar Ullal, Shafi Kinya, Sameer Seeko Ulaibettu, Imran Madaka, Saleem Mura and others were present.



The organisers thanked the blood donors, hospital staff, media representatives and all those who coordinated for the success of the camp.
