Udupi: Civilian Rifle Training Certificate camp concludes

Udupi, Mar 26: The week-long Civilian Rifle Training Certificate (CRTC) camp organised by the Udupi District police in the month of February concluded here on March 24 with the felicitation ceremony held at District Armed Reserve (DAR) HQ hall, Chandu Maidan.

As many as 41 civilians attended the camp. Participants were trained in basic rifle drill, firing positions, handling of weapons, aiming methodology and principles of good firing.

Amit D'Silva bagged the first place in the camp, while Praveen Chandra Suvarna came second and Krishna Prasad third.



Certificates were distributed to the successful participants of the camp. RPI Raghavendra Nayak and RSI Sahadev SY distributed the prizes. ARSI Chandrashekar, PHC Praveen K, APC Sainath Shetty and AHC Sukumar and others were present.
