Mandya: HDK takes to Twitter to criticise Sumalatha, S M Krishna

Daijiworld Media Network - Mandya (MS)

Mandya, Mar 16: All the focus is on the election activities of the Lok Sabha constituency of this district due to the entry of Sumalatha Ambareesh. It has been a war of words with accusations and counter accusations coupled with criticizing each other. Now this war is spread to Twitter also.

Immediately after Sumalatha met former CM and senior BJP leader S M Krishna at this residence in Bengaluru, chief minister of the state H D Kumaraswamy took to twitter ridiculed their meeting.

Ridiculing Sumalatha's statement, Kumaraswamy tweeted on his account, "Honourable Sumalatha, I was extremely happy after reading your pro-farmer statement. However, the people of this country called us lovingly as the 'Children of the Soil' (Mannina Makkalu). Ours is a heart that beats for the farmers. But now, all of a sudden, you have come from nowhere and sharing your experiences of tilling, sowing and harvesting in the fields. We need your suggestions for the betterment of farmers. We are eager to hear your suggestion."

Kumaraswamy also took to task former CM S M Krishna, who has said that he vehemently opposes the family politics of the Deve Gowda family. Chief minister Kumaraswamy wrote on his twitter account against S M Krishna saying "Greetings to respected Krishna. No one has entered from the backdoor in our family. They have got power, only when people have elected them. However, I hope you remember seeking help of Deve Gowda to enter the Rajya Sabha through the back door."

If anyone from the Gowda clan can contest , there is no reason why anyone else can't contest.
If Kumara feels that his wife can contest why can't Sumalatha . Guess he feels that his son's chances are gone down the drain. Anyway his son can try his luck in acting.. does not.look like he will make any impact there also.

Btw the Accidental CM should know tgat SM Krishna was one of the best CM of Karnataka who put a state and city of Bangalore on the world map. don t think he needs to use any of gowdas doors .
in fact gowdas will need to.ask.SMK for a door to hide themselves.

SM Krishna was one of the finest CM's of Karnataka and Ambareesh was a true son of the soil .
What is the Accidental CM's claim to fame?

If anyone from.the gowda clan can contest any citizen of India can contest.

If Kumaras wife can contest there is nonreason why Sumalatha can't contest. She does not need your permission. You will see the outcome when the results come out .

After Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated in 1991 and Sonia Gandhi refused[citation needed] to become Prime Minister, the party settled on the choice of P. V. Narasimha Rao who became leader and subsequently Prime Minister. Over the next few years, however, the Congress fortunes continued to dwindle and it lost the 1996 elections. Several senior leaders such as Madhavrao Sindhia, Rajesh Pilot, Narayan Dutt Tiwari, Arjun Singh, Mamata Banerjee, G. K. Moopanar, P. Chidambaram and Jayanthi Natarajan were in open revolt against incumbent President Sitaram Kesri and many of whom quit the party, splitting the Congress into many factions.[36]

In an effort to revive the party's sagging fortunes, she joined the Congress Party as a primary member in the Calcutta Plenary Session in 1997 and became party leader in 1998 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonia_Gandhi)

How dare Sumalatha to support farmers in Karnataka ? 'Nikil Gowda' is a farmer by birth. Only Devegowda & his family are farmers messengers sent by GOD. We should not question them :)
