Mandya: 'Give me elixir, not poison', campaigns Kumaraswamy for his son

Daijiworld Media Network - Mandya (MS)

Mandya, Mar 15: Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, who has considered the contest of Mandya constituency seriously, trying to woo the voters emotionally, said, "I have put my son on your lap, believing the people of this district. Do not give me poison. But give me elixir."

Kumaraswamy was addressing the public after officially declaring the name of his son Nikhil Kumaraswamy, as the alliance candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He further appealed to the people and said, "I have belief in the people of the district, who have given me the political strength. Give strength for the development of the district by supporting my son,"

“You hold my hand and I will save you. Bless us in the elections and give the strength to save you. You are the ones who reared us. I will never deceive you people. When the people of Hassan let go Deve Gowda, you are the ones who held his hand. You are the ones responsible for our growth. Today if you say 'Go Back', where should we go?" questioned Kumaraswamy.

JD (S) supremo  and former PM Deve Gowda clarified on the point of bringing his grandchildren to politics and said, "I have not brought my grand children to politics out of love. This is not family politics also. I have brought them to politics in order to strengthen the party in the coming days. I have utmost faith in both of my grandsons. I do not have the selfish thought of growing my family. Family inheritance is not politics. I do not condemn anyone."

"I need not play politics by shedding tears. I do not know that kind of politics also," clarified CM Kumaraswamy on the accusation of doing drama while announcing the name of his son Nikhil as the candidate of JD (S). He further said, "I am not gaining anything in drama or in politics by shedding tears. I am an emotional person. I am a person, who values feelings. I get tears naturally, when I see people in trouble. How someone can say it is drama? So I have decided not to cry in future."

People respect those who ready to sacrifice and generous givers; not self seekers, It's literally begging.!
Why people are so desperate to get party ticket, desperate to win an election, want Ministry? form Govt? Is it to serve the people ? Never!
All that desperation is only for amazing wealth and prosperity. Most of our politicians have become multi millionaires! It's high time to cleanse politicians!

Gowda should lose. People should throw these nautanki gowadas from Mandya and Hassan. Even if Sumalatha contests election from BJP, she should win and there are lot of chances BJP supporting Sumalatha. JDS has now become Ajja to Mommakkala party.

SHE IS LOCAL----------- . HE STAYS IN BANGALORE. SHE WILL PICK UP PEOPLES PHONES AFTER ELECTION. WILL HE PICKUP HIS PHONE???. JD(S) SHOULD HAVE HAVE GIVEN SEAT TO SUMALATHA ITSELF. BUT -- GOWDA DOES NOT WANT ABLE LEADERS IN HIS PARTY .IF SHE HAD JOINED JD(S) SHE CANNOT PERFORM AS GOWDA DOES NOT LIKE OTHERS PERFORMING IN HIS PARTY ! IF BJP WINS SHE MAY BECOME MINISTER TOO. GOWDA WILL NEVER ALLOW HER TO GROW! JS(D) FORBIDDABLE FORCE IN MANDYA MAY LOSE BECAUSE OF GOWDA. GOWDA HAS DESTROYED PARTY AND FURTHER DESTROYING . IN MANDYA IF JD(S) LOSES (LIKELY) ITS LIKE ALLOWING BJP TO ENTER IN MANDYA. IF POSSIBLE LET GOWDA APPROACH SUMALATHA AND GIVE HER TICKET TO SAVE MANDYA FROM COMMUNAL FORCES . ITS BECAUSE OF GOWDA BJP HAS GROWN IN KARNATAKA

worst family in Karnataka politics. But I respect them because they helped and in turn got the booty, but ultimately kept the besharam, balatkari janara party out from power in Karnataka.
Feku and DAku played their dirty games everywhere in teh country but failed miserably in Karnataka.
    Yeddi's chaddi is completely torn.

If Yeddy's Cheddy is completely torn...Shobhakka will stitch it ….what's your problem Sir???...

When I was going to School , most children of Belman including me were poor...so everybody's chedd'y was torn and stitched... some times I could see 'Komana' through the tears....

There was one car in Belman ( Krishna Bhat's) perhaps same model when he was born 1947 !!!...and one Scooter with then Parish Priest of Belman ( late NJ Pereira)….That Priest was Judge-Jury- and Executioner for parishioner….Very well respected and a very fair person …

I think when people are poor, it motivates them to excel...like a hungry tiger is motivated to hunt ...

Your Cheddy comments bring me fond memories of my childhood Sir...

    ...Tak...Takk….

    Cynthi,

    Following is definition of elixir/Amrita..

"The elixir of life, also known as elixir of immortality and sometimes equated with the philosopher's stone, is a potion that supposedly grants the drinker eternal life and/or eternal youth. This elixir was also said to cure all diseases. Alchemists in various ages and cultures sought the means of formulating the elixir."
