Mangaluru: Barakah International School holds annual day

Mangaluru, Feb 22: Barakah International School, Adyar Mangaluru on February 16 celebrated its Prep- Graduation (Annual day) with enthusiasm at the school premises.

The chief guest for the day was P B Abdul Hameed. The special invites for the day were Farooq, proprietor of Fabcon Technical System, Mohammed Sadiq, director of Tech-Gray Logix and Rajesh Naidu programme director of Aptra Technologies Pvt, Ltd, Nasrin, principal of Hidayah Foundation.

The function commenced with prayer. The cultural programme was themed as ‘Journey to my School’ which was well executed by the students of kindergarten. Colourful programmes such as Hindi and English action songs, informative skits etc were presented by students to mark the occasion. The KG students put up impressive performances which were well appreciated.

The prize winners of students of Class 1 to 8 were awarded commendation certificates. The highlight of the programme was performance of the students from Grade 6, 7 and 8 who gave tribute to the Jawans who had lost their lives in the Kashmir Attack. The annual day culminated with prayer and national anthem.
