Pulwama terror attack mastermind Abdul Rasheed Ghazi killed by Army

Srinagar, Feb 18 (Agencies): Pulwama terror attack mastermind Abdul Rasheed Ghazi was reportedly killed by Indian Army in an encounter in Pulwama Monday morning. However, there is no official confirmation about Ghazi's killing as yet. According to latest reports, Abdul Rasheed Ghazi 's accomplice Kamran has also been neutralised by the security forces.

Abdul Rasheed Ghazi had trained the suicide bomber who had attacked the CRPF convoy with a car laden with explosives that led to martyrdom of 40 soldiers. According to reports, the security forces blew up the building in which Abdul Rasheed Ghazi and two other terrorists were hiding.

Earlier, four army personnel, including an officer of Major rank, were martyred after an encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The martyred soldiers belonged to 55 Rashtriya Rifles. The four martyred soldiers are – Major DS Dhondiyal, Head Constable Sewa Ram, Sepoy Ajay Kumar and Sepoy Hari Singh

Three terrorists were believed to be trapped by the army. Those trapped included Pulwama terror attack master Abdul Rasheed Ghazi, his accomplice Kamran and a local terrorist. The encounter, that started Sunday night in Pinglia village of Pulwama, is presently underway.

The encounter site is 2-4 kilometers away from the location where 40 CRPF personnel were killed after a suicide bomber affiliated to Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) targeted a convoy of the security forces with a car bomb on Thursday.

An Army officer was killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on February 16. A total of 45 soldiers have been martyred in Jammu and Kashmir in last 5 days.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Sunday decided to withdraw the security of five separatist leaders including Hurriyat Conference chief Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. Apart from Mirwaiz, the security cover of Abdul Ghani Bhat, Bilal Lone, Hashim Qureshi and Shabir Shah has also been withdrawn. According to the official order, no security forces or cover will be provided, under any pretext, to these or any other separatists.

Sir, You choose to close the sentence with the word "...Tak...Takk..." that is an actual brain dish prepared in Northern India and Pakistan for breakfast.
I don't know you eat the same and lost the ability to think like 'Gajani' and doubt others in this forum 'anti-national'.
For your knowledge, 'anti-nationals' are one who disrespects the national flag, national anthem, the constitution of India, father of the nation. The terror can in many forms. The one who kills soldiers in Pulwama and one in Uttar Pradesh should also be considered terror.
Without doubting your authenticity of the name if you are true India,
    1. Is hoisting Pakistani flag by Ram Sena with Sanathan Sanstha in Sidhghi, Bijapur or Lal square in Srinagar is an equal crime? Do you consider them anti-national?
    2. Is mocking the death of Father of nation Mahatma Gandhi on his anniversary by Hindu Mahasabha is not a terrorist act?
Gentleman, Choose your words to write while commenting on others. Do not come to the conclusion of your inner thoughts.

Sir, Even if I am Kashmiri or Keralite for me 'Humanity' matters first. You must have not understood the political motive behind this attack. Last two days both Modiji & Amit Shah are using the martyrdom of soldiers in government-held functions. At the same time paid tv network instead of questioning the government failure and ignoring the security threat, they are calling for all-out war as if they are frontline soldiers.
    Gentleman, Yesterday I received an army friend who is present during the attack. His message reads;
"Been there, done that. Assembled body parts of my buddy & took him home, there were 6, I don’t know which mother got which part head/ heart of which cast/religion, part of my soul went with them. Stop talking revenge/war sitting on easy chairs. Fight terror in any way if you can".
We need to understand it is not illegal to go to war, it is immoral&inhuman to think of it as a solution. Be calm, wise men will find a way to resolve the conflict. The price is paid by children, widows& parents@.
No BJP-RSS foot soldier who tweaks 'Lathi' will go & sacrifice to fight in the frontline. Nor any of politician will lose life who amassed wealth in tax-free heavens. It is common citizens of India will suffer the consequences of the war.
Take the December 13, 2001 attack on the Indian Parliament. It was the NDA at the Centre and the Opposition was up in arms protesting the “Coffin scam” seeking the then Defence Minister George resignation. The 2001 Parliament attack pushed the coffingate scam into the background, thus bailing out the Vajpayee at another critical juncture. The same outcome had followed Kargil. Now Pulwama attack ahead of 2019 elections.
Since February 14, no one has dared mention the Rafale scam, when the needle of suspicion pointed directly at Modi, not just in the mainstream media but even on digital and social media. Modi is back again as the muscular tough-talking ‘He-man’, shutting up all skeptics and critics.

If the identity of the Master Mind could be established in such a short period of time after the cowardly attack on 14.02.2019, security lapses that allowed such a henious crime to take place should be throughly investigated and people reponsible should be brought to book.

Pulwama Fallout from Social Media to the Streets, Calls for Revenge Feed Political Agenda. It is no doubt with the BJP-led government and its supporters taking the lead in fanning anxieties, aggressiveness and hyper-nationalism have taken center stage.

Since February 14, no one has dared mention the Rafale scam, whence the needle of suspicion pointed directly at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, not just in the mainstream media but even on digital and social media. Modi is back again as the muscular tough talking ‘He-man’ who must be trusted to “teach Pakistan a lesson, shutting up all sceptics and Modi critics, including political opponents. It’s advantage Modi, courtesy Masood.

The Prime Minister has succeeded in raising the temperature by announcing ‘revenge’ for those poor jawans killed in Kashmir valley and as if on cue Kashmiri students, including girls studying in various colleges in Dehradun, UP Haryana and other places, all governed by BJP governments, are being targeted by Bajrang Dal, VHP and ABVP activists and are being forced to scurry back to their homes in the Kashmir valley, thereby creating further distrust and disenchantment in their minds of the Indian state and the people of the mainland.
Curiously, Jaish-e-Muhammad seems to strike before Indian elections and they invariably bail out the BJP from tricky corners. Is it just a coincidence?
Yet, the PM has turned government events over the last two days – from the flagging off of the Vande Bharat Express to the inauguration of defence corridor in Uttar Pranesh’s Jhansi – into semi-political rallies and platforms for BJP’s electoral messaging.
Why only Modi and BJP benefit from terror strikes by Jaish. I feel that what Modi wanted, he got from Pulwama that rest all the corruption allegations to the peace.

Every group has its good people and bad people, do not judge every one in your angle. In the modern world there should not be a place for terrorist activities all kinds of such activities must be wiped out with force. We need a peaceful India and for that all must work together with government to secure and protect our land . All terrorists, hate mongers and their sympathizers inside and outside must be flushed out for a peaceful India. We need an economist like you as you have better assessments of prevailing situation and import and export ideas.

SN mangalore what I mean is first of all learn to be loyal to the nation then rest follows by itself. When I say loyal means without involvement of violence or any form of harmful of activities towards humans or communities or states. Work without creating or thinking separate states within the nations we reside or have a parallel laws makes intimidation of.peaceful society. World has reached a point no one want to have a neighbors of people who destroy peace for their beliefs or various reason of their choices to believe. If you do a survey any given point in time people will respond and see the results of how people feel about evil terrorists and what they believe to become such a great terrorist. . I m still very pained of losing Indian soldiers of no reasons. God give them eternal life. Let's also pray for their families.

We need tough police officers to take this head on. It was because of people like Julius Reberio and KPS Gill that terrorism was dealt a cursing blow in Punjab.
As far as national security is concerned, The law enforcement agencies and army should be given a free hand and there should be no influence from political parties in dealing with terrorists and anti -nationals.

As a celebrated and disciplined army they can even take losses to prevent civilian casualties, but end to terrorists is just natural.

Maybe we might look for another film where Modi led BJP trying to take the credit.
