Mangaluru, Feb 11: Deepak Barke (41), working for a call centre located at Morgans Gate here, was found to have ended his life by allowing himself to be crushed by a train. What a tragody.Poor fellow.Noone helped him in his bad times. If only someone tried to be bit more friendly to him and try to pullout from his lonliness may be hewould have been saved.Did he not have any family ?Sometimes even someones help too is bieng rejected from the person when he is too depressive .Nowadays many people ,educated ,from famous family too are victims of such depression. They deny the help of friends ,thinking they arent sick.Thats the bad part of it.May his soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathy to the family.

Yes, Everyone who is going through such feeling should talk to people who will certainly help him. You are right, we do not know under what storm God made him to walk. We should not judge the person by the act. Also, I heard, people working in the call centres go through lot of tension in addition to night shift work.

A man is not in self control while under goes depression and lack of self consciousness.
He will not understand what is right or wrong at that extreme juncture.
Of course a sin is committed with completely willful act, a suicide at the time of depression is not a completely willful act.
Gravity of sin is all that matters, hence it can be categorized as a venial sin, not a mortal sin.
He will surely find peace, as long as he was in the state of no other mortal sins.
    Rest in Peace, Amen.
