Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (EP)

Bengaluru, Jan 18: There is curiosity regarding the whereabouts of former minister and MLA of Gokak constituency, Ramesh Jarkiholi and whether he will take part in Congress Legislative party meeting.

The meeting is scheduled at Vidhana Soudha on Friday at 3.30 pm. But Siddaramaiah has not been able to contact Ramesh Jarkiholi even through his brother Sathish Jarkiholi.

Siddaramaiah had said that there should be no absentees in the meeting. But which are the MLAs that will attend the meeting is not known. Congress leaders are waiting to know the stand of Ramesh Jarkiholi.

KPCC had sent a stern message to Ramesh Jarkiholi. The high command had asked Siddaramaiah to hold a meeting of compromise with MLAs. But several Congress MLAs could not be contacted.

DCM Parameshwar lashes out at BSY

Deputy chief minister (DCM) G Parameshwar lashed out at B S Yeddyurappa saying that low level politics is not right in democracy.

“Siddaramaiah has called a meeting of Congress Legislative party. We have not prepared any agenda for the meeting yet. But we will hold discussions on preparations for Lok Sabha elections in various constituencies and recent political developments. We will speak to MLAs. We are confident that all will attend,” he said.

Responding to the comment by Yeddyurappa that the colour of Congress will be out in CLC meeting, he said that Yeddyurappa is made the president of BJP and not Congress. “Therefore, let him mind the MLAs in his party. Yeddyurappa has taken his party MLAs to unknown place. Let him hot worry about out MLAs,” he said.

“BJP had tried and is trying to pull our MLAs. Though we say that they will not succeed, they do not understand. They are still hopeful,” he said.
