Moodbidri: Alva's students excel at Khelo India youth games

Moodbidri, Jan 16: Students of Alva's educational institutions here have excelled in the Khelo India national level sports tournament going on at Pune, Maharashtra.

Abhinaya Shetty, an Alva's student, has annexed gold medal in high jump. Another sportsperson from Alva's, Supreetha Shetty, got silver medal. In the weight lifting 67 kg category, Bhavishya Poojary of the institutions got silver medal.



Lavanya Rai, another student of Alva's College, has secured silver medal in the weight lifting 71 kg category. Nishant also of Alva' got bronze medal in 109 kg category, while Lakshmi Radekar, also got bronze medal. This happens to be her eighth medal at the national level.
