Moodbidri: Police nab woman involved with theft of gold, cash

Moodbidri, Jan 11: A woman, who reportedly used to steal purses and gold ornaments, was arrested by the police personnel here on the evening of Thursday, January 10.

The arrested woman has been identified as Ayesha alias Samreen (24), wife of Shaffi from Bommanakatte in Bhadravati, Shivamogga district.

Reportedly, the woman used to come and stay with her relatives residing at Bannadka. When a woman visited a finance company here on Thursday to get the gold ornaments pledged, the accused had stolen a purse kept in a bag held by the said woman. The purse contained cash amounting to about Rs 13,000. The woman who lost the purse had filed police complaint.

The police had been on extra vigil since sometime as there have been reports of several purses, gold and cash being stolen since sometime. The police checked the CCTV footage in Alankar Finance here, and found that the scene of the woman stealing purse there was captured. On the basis, police personnel of the station conducted an operation and finally succeeded in taking custody of the accused woman from the bus stand. 

During her questioning, the woman told the police about stealing Rs 21,000 belonging to a customer from near C H Medical here. The police have recovered Rs 34,000 in total relating to the above two thefts. The accused woman was produced in the court here.

    Sharia Law as like any other laws on earth purely made for the poor and middle class people who honestly believe in god becasue they dont have any other options in life rather than worshiping in GOD ! People who living in INDIA most of them not pray to god 5 times a day but the day landed in MIDDLE EAST they obey the rule !
