Moodbidri: Singers Shanker, Shiva, Siddarth Mahadevan mesmerize crowds at Alvas Virasat

Moodbidri, Jan 7: The two hour long singing of popular background singers Shanker Mahadevan and sons Siddarth Mahadevan and Shiva Mahadevan in the concluding programme of Alvas Virasat silver jubilee celebrations mesmerized the gathering.

Shanker Mahadevan sang Kannada song Ekadantaya Vakratundaya and Hindi songs Dil Chahta Hai, Maine ise Abhi Abhi Dekha Hai, Tere Rang Rang, It’s time to disco, Har Ghadi, Salame Ishk, Meri Ma and other film songs.

His elder son Siddarth Mahadevan sang Jinda and Bhag Milka Bhag. Second son Shiva Mahadevan sang Man Mast Magan, Tere Naina, Maine Tenu Samjavan and Babu Sanje Ishare.

Singer Raman who joined the programme, sang Colo Darauvasa. The flute recital of Chandrashekar entertained the gathering.



Manoj Tapliyal played drums, Saumil Shrirangapure the keyboard, Shawn Pinto the guitar, Dibya Jyothinath the base guitar, Prasada Malandkar Dolak, Anupam Degatak (western Parkashan) and Deepak (Dols) joined the singers.

The song by Shanker Devan in the scene of soldier’s training in Laksh film with Hrithik Roshan was dedicated to Dr M Mohan Alva.
