Superior attack helped us reach semis: England coach

Bhubaneswar, Dec 12 (IANS): England hockey coach Danny Kerry credited his team for their incisive attack for the 3-2 win over Argentina in the World Cup quarter-finals here on Wednesday.

Kerry said that his team were more attacking throughout the game and created more chances than Argentina, which helped them to register a victory in the quarter final.

He also believed that the team's defense was absolutely on point during the opponents' attacks.

England player Phil Roper said it is a wonderful feeling to peak at the right time and be able to defeat World No.2 in the World Cup.

"It was just incredible that we reached semi final by beating world number two Argentina in the world cup. I feel delighted," he said.
