Mangaluru, Dec 11: In the new age of match making, online matrimonial sites are becoming common and they operate on the basis of bringing in technology to execute the fact called as arranged marriage. Opening new era of online matrimony in the Catholic community of coastal Karnataka, Goa and Kasargod, Nelson Frank, a dynamic community leader and event compere has come up with a new project 'waawmatrimony.com', which will be launched on December 23 at the event of Daijiworld's Konkani Sambhram that will be held at St Agnes College ground.



A native of Bantwal and well-known community leader in the region, Nelson was earlier engaged  in the activities in Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) as president of Bantwal Varado and later served as secretary of  Agrar Parish Council for three Years.  Then he was appointed as director of Bantwal Co-operative Bank, Bantwal for five years. Nelson is a professional photographer for the last nine years and runs the firm Nelson Photography. Apart from this, he is a well-known designer and businessman in the region. 

About the idea of matrimony site Nelson says that years back one of his friends made several attempts to find a match but failed. He spent a lot of money and time on it. Seeing his struggle, Nelson thought about finding a solution for match making issues in the Catholic community. It led to the birth of 'Waawmatrimony.com'.

Nelson says, “When I shared my dreams with my friends, they supported my new project. My family and friends, especially, Alwin Agrar from In Gallery, Sanod Lobo from Fobza, Roshan Suvares, Merwin Farla and  Praveen  Tauro from Daijiworld have always encouraged me. We already started registration from the month of October and have more than 700 registered profiles,”

"With the motto of simplifying the process of matrimonial alliance, by providing an organized digital platform, www.waawmatrimony.com was born. It aims to be the one stop destination for the members of the entire Roman Catholic community to find suitable life partners,” added Nelson.

Nelson further assures that "In the website, we used highly modern technology, especially for privacy matters. Payments can be made through online, bank transfer, cash or Cheque. The photographs, contact details and details of native and email IDs of members will not be displayed anywhere in the site.”

2. Physically challenged member registration will be totally free of cost. Those who marry with physically challenged members of our site will also be offered free of charge service (if already paid, the amount will be refunded during their marriage)
