Mangaluru: Rumours abuzz as Congress MLA Anand Singh seen with RSS leaders

Mangaluru, Dec 10: Congress MLA of Ballari Vijayanagara, Anand Singh was seen with RSS leaders recently. Discussions whether he will join BJP again are once again heard in political circles.

Anand Singh took part in the sports festival at Sri Rama Vidya Kendra held under the leadership of RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat. There were no guests other than BJP and RSS leaders. The name of Anand Singh was not mentioned in the invitation of the programme. Anand Singh participating in it nevertheless has aroused curiosity.

The allegations of BJP’s ‘Operation Lotus’ were heard during Belagavi session. The attitude of Anand Singh has caused fodder for political gossip. The question if he will join BJP again has cropped up.

The talk of Anand Singh joining BJP was heard before formation of coalition government. Kumaraswamy had arrived late for confidence vote. But Anand Singh had said that he will remain in Congress. Yet, he was seen in Kalladka before Belagavi session. Prabhaker Bhat had spoken to him for a short while.

Anand Singh had taken part in Tipu Jayanti when he was in BJP. State BJP leaders had expressed their resentment about it. A show cause notice that he should explain his participation was issued by BJP to him. Anand Singh had later joined Congress party and become MLA.
