Davanagere, Dec 3: Police arrested Honnali MLA M P Renukacharya on charges of harassing people during bandh.

Renukacharya belongs to BJP party.

Renukacharya had called for bandh urging for the availability of sand and demanding the announcement of Honnali and Nyamathi taluks as drought-affected. Bandh in Nyamathi taluk on Saturday was successful. Therefore, he had called for Honnali bandh on Monday.

As per information available, the MLA had blocked traffic during bandh and harassed people. He had also argued with police who rushed to the venue of protests. As the police personnel could not bear MLA’s attitude, they arrested him and took him to police station.

Police also arrested more than ten BJP activists.

    India need an emergency amendment in the law system. No political leaders or any of the citizens of India should not be allowed to call for a Bandh. This privilege must be removed and treated as an criminal offence with severe punishment.

    This sex scandal hit BJP Married ' 'Sanskari' MLA 'kissing' photos surfaced once sacked from the party for rebellion is famous for public nuisance.

    Jayalakshmi, popularly known as ‘Nurse Jayalakshmi’, made headlines in 2007 when she accused Renukacharya of sexual harassment. She even released photographs of them kissing, and alleged that she was driven to attempt suicide as the minister was forcing her to marry him.

    After his case is mediated by the mutt leaders with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh the victim Jayalakshmi has withdrawn the case.

    He has been elected twice on BJP tickets and his protest proves he is one of the failed leader of the party who is unable to fulfill the promises.

    Is BJP is a dearth of able leaders? Will he still block the roads if one his own relative in ambulance need immediate medical attention to the nearby hospital?

    Very good.It must have a end .These protests,Bandh,and always some or other problems cant be tolerated any more.People have enough from this.A normal living is not possible.One day students streikes,next day mandir building or etc.
