Bengaluru: Police complaint against CM for 'where were you sleeping?' remark

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Nov 22: Mallikarjun, president of Karnataka Labour Welfare Foundation, has complained to the state director general of police, that chief minister (CM), H D Kumaraswamy, had made derogatory remarks about a woman farmer by asking her to where she was sleeping for four years.

Mallikarjun, who addressed a press meet here on Wednesday November 21, said that he had complained online against the CM to the director general of police, Karnataka Women's Commission and Human Rights Commission. He demanded immediate action against the CM.

"By talking derisively about a woman from a farming community, Kumaraswamy, who is occupying the position of the CM, the highest in the state, has insulted the entire farming community in the state. Therefore, the concerned should take cognizance of this offence and take steps against him," Mallikarjun demanded.

In Karnataka Pappu and Beppu can be chief Minister. See the language CM is using. This does not suit a person holding high position. What one can expect from the CM who is the son of sleeping father. Sometime back his brother was throwing biscuits at the people. See their attitude.Uncivilised people are holding the highest position.

What CM meant was that why was she silent for 4 years?
Plain common sense is enough to understand this!
    Stop exaggeration.
The comments were the result of public humiliation of the CM by the woman which was uncalled for.

Correct. We should also allow CM to work, rather tie him in these small petty issues.
If people start to file firs for these petty issues a day may come when CM might need a lawyer for every press conference.
