Bantwal: Borimar St Joseph’s Church celebrates 125th anniversary

Bantwal, Nov 21: The 125th anniversary of Borimar St Joseph’s church was celebrated on Wednesday, November 21 with pomp and gaiety.

Archbishop emeritus Rev Dr Bernard Moras was the main celebrant of holy mass. He said in his homily that the celebration by the devotees is a testimony for their devotion.

“The dedication, devotion and enthusiasm in a small church of Borimar should be a model for other churches,” he said. He commended Fr Gregory Pereira and members of parish pastoral council. Pastoral council vice president Roshan Boniface Martis was felicitated by archbishop emeritus.



Bantwal vicarvar, parish priests from neighborhood parishes, secretary Preethi Lancy Pereira and devotees took part in the programme. The programme concluded after community meals.
