Mangaluru, Nov 20: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will conduct a mega convention at the Nehru Maidan on November 25, to prevail upon the union government to pass a suitable law to ensure construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, informed regional secretary Vishwa Hindu Parishat Sharan Pumpwell.

Addressing media here on Tuesday, November 20, Sharan Pumpwell said, "Prior to the meeting a huge rally will be taken out from Ambedkar (Jyothi) Circle to Nehru Maidan. Close to 50,000 Ram devotees from the district will take part in this meet. Several groups chanting bhajans, and tableau of Lord Ram will be taken out in the procession.

He also said, "Several religious leaders and saints are expected to take part in the meet. National Bajrang Dal convenor Sohan Singh Solanki will address people in the meeting.”

Speaking over the Sabarimala row, district president VHP Jagadish Shenava demanded the suspension of Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan's government in the state and urged the central government to intervene and sort out the issue.

VHP leaders Bujanga Kulal, Praveen Kuthar and Shivanand Mendon were present.

    Rallies probably wouldn't have organized if Modi stood by his promises in 2014 of 2 crores jobs/year.
    On 25 Nov estimation around 3-5 lakhs paid majority "devotees" expected to gather in Ayodhya and Lucknow and other cities across India from different parts of India. .
    Its a free picnic with a long drive excursion trip, free food, free shelter, lots of entertainment. Only a fool can turn down such offer.
    Law and order situation certainly will remain the matter of concern and hope the recall of 1992 won't repeat.
    Its a challenge for Modi and Yogi govt to maintain peace in order to keep their little image left in the basket.

    Hold a mega convention. Mobilise resources and man power. Adopt a village where poor villagers lack basic facilities like food ,cloth and shelter. Open schools in remote areas. Start primary health care centres.Educate the bright students and encourage higher studies. On Earth we will definitely see RAMA RAJYA. Lord Rama will be more pleased to see the service of his PRAJA .

    The sitting MP who can't finish 'Pumpwell flyover' despite spending Rs14,000 crores in his 9 years of tenure now wants mega convention for Ram Mandir to deflects the voter's attention from the PM Modi's central government failures.
    The RSS-BJP wanted to charge the atmosphere so much so that citizens forget the corruption, lynching, rapes, unemployment, fuel price hike and falling economy using the religious card to exploit the majority of the Hindu vote bank emotionally.
    Do Mangaloreans want 'Hindutva' over 'development' with innocents head rolling for BJP victory only coming election will prove.
