Mangaluru: St Agnes PU College celebratess Annual Sports Meet 2018

Mangaluru, Nov 14: St Agnes PU College, Mangaluru celebrated the annual sports meet 2018-19 recently at the College grounds upholding the aspects of sporting events.

Dr Sr Maria Roopa A C, joint secretary of St Agnes institutions was the chief guest for the ceremony.

Valentina Rodrigues - vice president of PTA executive committee, Sr M Shamita A C, principal, Sr Norine Dsouza, vice principal, Jayashree, physical director, members of the PTA executive committee, teaching and non-teaching staff graced the occasion.

Preema Correa, lecturer in Biology, introduced the chief guest and delivered the welcome address.



The chief guest took the salute for the impressive march past and addressed the students about the importance of sports and how it helps us to develop our personality, boost our confidence level and helps maintain physical and mental equilibrium.

Thereafter, the events of the day began and all the students actively participated in the sporting extravaganza with full zeal and enthusiasm.

The winners of the various events won accolades and were honoured with a rich haul of medals and prizes. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks and the national anthem.
