Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School celebrates joyous Deepavali

Mangaluru, Nov 7: Deepavali, the festival of lights was celebrated at Lourdes Central School during the general assembly on Wednesday November 7.

Deepavali songs were played as students and staff members assembled at the school ground.

The students of class 10 conducted the assembly. The choir minister of the school spoke a few words on the importance of the day, its history, significance, traditions and celebration.



The principal, Fr Robert D’Souza explained to the children how it is a festival of lights, joy and love as well as the importance of making it eco-friendly. He concluded his speech by wishing all a happy and safe Deepavali.
