Mangaluru, Oct 30: A lecture programme on the theme 'Kannada Nadu, Nudi - Andu Indu' will be held at Shakti school on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava on November 1 at 9 am. This lecture will be delivered by Dr Meenakshi Ramachandra, HOD of Kannada department of Besant Women's College in the city.

This lecture is organized under the joint auspices of Sri Gopalakrishna pre-primary school, Shaktinagar, Shakti Residential school and shakti pre-university college.

Piush Rodrigues, member of Karnataka State Pollution Control Board and Shehnaz M, Editor-in-chief of 'Anupama' monthly magazine for women will be the chief guests. Prabhakar G S, prinicpal of Shakti pre-university college will preside over the function.

After the lecture programme, Inchara Group Urwa will sing Kannada songs. K C Naik, managing trustee of Shri Gopalakrsihna temple, Baikady Janardhan Achar, administrative officer of the temple, Sanjit Naik, secretary, Ramesh K, chief advisor and Naseem Banu, development officer will be present at the function.
