Rahul Gandhi takes dig at PM Modi-Anil Ambani, tweets iconic 'Sholay' song

New Delhi, Oct 22(PTI): Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday used a popular song from Bollywood blockbuster ‘Sholay’ to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his "proximity" to industrialist Anil Ambani.

Rahul Gandhi used the hit song, "Ye dosti hum nahin todenge", from the film, using the pictures of PM Modi and Ambani, whose company, according to the Congress chief, had received the offset contract worth Rs 30,000 crore in the Rafale deal.

The 17-second video uploaded by Rahul Gandhi on Twitter only shows the smiling faces of PM Modi and Ambani with the song playing in the background.

Rahul Gandhi has been attacking the prime minister over alleged corruption and favouritism in the Rafale fighter jet deal with a French firm.

According to the Congress chief, the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government has renegotiated the deal by leaving out the State-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), which was set to get the offset contract as per the deal negotiated by the previous Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government.

Two decades ago in 1998 when Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government conducted nuclear tests. U.S.A imposed sanctions on Indian institutions and companies both private and public sector. Public sector companies like H.A.L, B.E.L, B.E.M.L and private companies like Godrej, Walchandnagar Industries , Kirloskar's were included in banned list by U.S.A for assisting nuclear tests conducted by India.. These companies both private and public sector companies suffered lot in terms of technology and trade. Reliance company was no where in the picture then. Now this NM govt has offered rafale fighter deal to Reliance on platter. So much for patriotism.

There are many offset contracts. Reliance is one of them. The total Contract itself is worth around 58000 crore. How come relaince get contracts worth 30000 crore? Hope Tommorrow he does not give the figure of 60,000 crore. Funny.

Think he has seen only Sholay.
Other film songs, lyrics are read out and described to him.
Now you all believe me ?
You were all punching disagrees when I was describing his singing in Harmonium.
    All supporters I mean..
Now Chiddu has said RaGa is not their PM face.
Salmaan Kurshid is also singing different tune.
Gehlot says Congress can never think of Majority ....only alliances.
Where does this leave RaGa ? Obviously on the Harmonium !

No doubt now that the Modi Sarkar has been a Suit Boot Ki Sarkar and all the Gujarati Businesmen are either leaving the country with the tax payers money or are being beniffited by the Govt with sweet heart deals.
