Mumbai: Goregaon Karnataka Sangha celebrates 61st Nada Habba

Mumbai, Oct 22: Goregaon Karnataka Sangha, one of the prestigious organizations of Mumbai celebrated its 61st annual Nada Habba on Sunday October 21.

S M Shetty college Povai principal Sridhar Shetty inaugurated the festival.

Students of I B Patil Municipal School in the locality, Pahadi school and Sarswathi night school children were presented scholarships and prizes.

 



 

Former president of the Sangha, V P Kotian, former and current office bearers, heads of various departments and members were present.

Seema Kulkarni, Veda Shetty and Preethi Kudva sang a prayer song. Chief honorary secretary Padmaja Mannoor, Vasanthi Kotekar, Veda Suvarna and Saritha Suresh Naik introduced the guests. Former president G T Acharya, Payyar Ramesh Shetty, Shakuntala R Prabhu, S M Shetty honoured the guests. Jayakar D Poojary compered the hall programme and cultural programme. Honorary chief teasurer Vishalakshi Uluvara and Gunodaya S Ail read the list of beneficiary students. Vasanthi Kotakar proposed the vote of thanks.
