Mumbai: Eleventh annual Dahisar Dasara set in motion

Mumbai, Oct 11: Gowda Saraswath Brahman Sabha Dahisar Borivli is celebrating its eleventh annual Navarathri festival here with pujas, pomp and gaiety. The festivities were set in motion on Wednesday October 10.

Gowda Saraswath Brahman Sabha Dahisar Borivli convener Kundapur Srinivas Prabhu, G D Rao, C M S Rao, Shobha Kulkarni, Saguna K Kamath, president K R Mallya, vice president Sanooru Mohan V Kamath, honorary chief secretary M Udaya Padiar, honorary treasurer Mohan A Kamath, joint secretary Vinod K Prabhu, Shivanand E Bhat, activists and devotees were present. The festival will be held for nine days.



Several cultural and social programmes will be held on the occasion. Chief organizer, vice president Sanooru Mohan V Kamath and honorary chief secretary Udaya Padiar asked all the devotees to come to the temple, receive Srigandha prasada and be blessed by the deity.
