Mangaluru: Man arrested for sexual harassment of girl at construction site

Mangaluru, Oct 8: Ullal station police on Monday, October 8, arrested the manager of a construction company on charges of sexually harassing a female employee at work place.

The arrested has been identified as Uppala resident Abdul Latif Khader (37). He is employed as a manager at a private construction company.

The female employee is employed at an under construction building in Kotekar.

It is said that the suspect entered the office of the company in the afternoon on October 8 when the girl was alone, sexually harassed and threatened her.

A case under column 341, 354(a), 354 and 506 has been registered against the arrested.

    my comments remain the same, if he is proven guilty, he should be punished as per IPC not any other countries laws. these men commit all these heinous crimes and blame for women and still abuse women.

    dude what kind comment you are making. did i say i am favor to anyone. just mind what you say and dont feel your ego gets hurt. this man is worse than animal, he has opportunity for 4 wives, still raping others.
    there is a court to punish Firdous if she is proven guilty. no need to use abusive words to her. we do not know yet, she has arrested and she may be punished or she may be come out like Salman Khan. we still dont say anything to Salman for killing more than one.
