Mangaluru, Oct 8: Vikas PU College Boys Netball team, representing Dakshina Kannada district won the first place in the Netball Tournament for the second consecutive year in state level sports meet of Pre-University colleges 2018-19.
The tournament was jointly organized by the department of Vocational and Pre University Education, Udupi and Sri Mookambika Temple Independent PU Collge, Kollur on October 4.
With this victory, Vikas College boy’s team has qualified for national level sports meet to be held in Maharashtra.
Krishna J Palemar, chairman, Vikas Group of Institutions, coordinator Parthasarathi J Palemar, principal, Prof T Rajaram Rao, Ayshwarya, commerce in-charge and Ramesh Poojary, physical director were present along with the team members.
