Mangaluru, Jun 12: Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, bishop of Mangaluru and the president of Catholic Board of Education appointed Fr Victor D’Souza, as the principal of Rosario PU College.
Fr Victor D’Souza took charge on Monday, June 11 as the principal at the Rosario cultural hall.
Fr J B Crasta, correspondent, presided over the function. All the students and the staff gave a cordial welcome to the new principal.

The correspondent introduced the new principal. Dean Rohith M gave a brief history of the institution. Fr Flavian Lobo, vice-president C J Simon, and secretary Elizabeth Roche were present.
About Fr Victor D’Souza
Fr Victor D’Souza hails from Kundapur. He completed his high school at St Mary’s High School, Kundapur; pre-university at Milagres P U College, Mangaluru; and graduation at Bhandarkar’ s College, Kundapur.
He pursued his priestly studies at St Jospeh’s Seminary, Jeppu.
He served as the assistant parish priest at Milagres Church, Mangaluru, and St Sebastian Church, Thokkottu, and as the parish priest at Uppinangady church.
His qualifications include MCom (Karnataka State Open University, Mysuru), and MSc in Counselling Psychology (Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong, Meghalaya). He is qualified in individual, marriage and family counselling and also specialised in educational counselling.
He has done research studies on ‘Impact of Learning Styles on Academic Achievement among Secondary School Students’ and has conducted workshops and seminars at various colleges in Bengaluru.
Passionate about music and singing, Fr Victor is also interested in reading books and research articles.
