Mangaluru: MLA J R Lobo lays foundation for Kankanady B ward concrete road

Mangaluru, Oct 30: MLA J R Lobo on Sunday, October 29, laid the foundation stone for the Rs 1.50 crore worth concrete road being constructed at Mahalingeshwara Temple, at 49th Kankanady B ward.

He said that several projects were being implemented for development of Mangaluru and that drainage works in the city would be held soon. “Pravin Chandra Alva, corporator of the ward is conducting excellent development works. Kankanady railway station road at Naguri is developed. Voters here have elected a good corporator. The city will surely develop if other corporators also work hard like him,” he said.


    






























Pravin Chandra Alva gave a key note address. Devendra, temple trustee gave details of those who worked for development of the road. MLA Lobo and corporator Pravin Chandra Alva were felicitated.

Mangaluru corporation standing health committee president Nagaveni, Congress south block president Abdul Saleem, Sadashiva Ameen, Santhosh Kumar Palemar, Dr Roshan, Mohan Mendon, Mohan Nekkemar, Ramakrishna Shetty, Kritin Kumar, Prakash Marladi, Jeevan, Hemanth and others were present.

Kallur Nagesh compered the programme.

Congress Nadige, Janara Balige programme was held at 49th Kankanady B ward. Under the leadership of corporator Pravin Chandra Alva, MLA J R Lobo went from house to house and conducted the party campaign.

Abdul Salim, Sadashiva Ameen, Prabhaker Sriyan, Kritin Kumar, Shashidhar Kotari Prakash Marladi, Dikshit Kumar, Sandeep, Dixit, Devika, Jeevan, Hemanth and others were present.
