Jebel Ali: Nativity feast celebrated at St Francis of Assisi Church

Jebel Ali (UAE), Sep 8: The feast of Nativity (Birthday of Blessed Mother Mary) was celebrated on September 7 at St Francis of Assisi Church, Jebel Ali. Mass in Konkani was celebrated by Fr Maxim Cardoza, assistant parish priest.

In a traditional Mangulorean style, the Paddy, was brought to Altar in a procession and blessed by Fr Maxim. After the mass all children offered flowers to Mother Mary in the traditional way.
