Cholamandalam Investment logs Q1 net up by 25%


Chennai, July 27 (IANS): Non-banking finance company (NBFC) Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited on Thursday said it closed the first quarter with a growth of 25 per cent in its net profit.

The company in a statement issued here said it has logged a net profit of Rs 206.58 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2017 -- up from Rs 165.73 crore posted during the corresponding period of the previous year.

According to the company, the disbursals during the period under review stood at Rs 4,853 crore as against Rs 4,561 crore in the first quarter of the previous fiscal.
