Media Release

Mangaluru, Mar 29: In a very significant ceremony, Mount Carmel Central School (MCCS) organised a send off for another batch of KG graduates all set to soar like an eagle in a 'Higher and Nobler' manner on March 28 morning.

The young graduates, with a strength of 152 marched off with pride and pomp to the auditorium along with the chief guests of the day Dionysius D’Souza and Lany D’Souza escorted by the principal Sr Melissa AC and administrator Sr Carissima AC.

One thousand pillars strengthen the Jain temple at Moodbidri. Mount Carmel has one pillar, a pillar of prayer. The UKG graduation ceremony began by invoking God’s grace by the UKG kids. The august gathering was welcomed warmly by Tr Sandra Lobo coupled with a welcome dance by LKG kids. The tiny tots of the nursery gave a heart-warming programme through a dance and a song. The main event of the graduation ceremony 'presentation of the graduates' was most spectacular and memorable for the UKG graduates and their parents. Tr Neetha Pais presented the graduates to the principal Sr Melissa, who in turn congratulated the young graduates and led the pledge.

The guests Dionysius D’Souza, Lany D'Souza, adminstrator Sr Carissima and principal Sr Melissa honoured the graduates. D'Souza in his message congratulated and applauded the teamwork of Mount Carmel family which reflected in the quality of the programme. A skit was enacted showcasing the value of love and care. A - Z, 1- 10, we know it all they said while another section of LKG students portrayed them through a dance. The MCCS students small as they are can zip through the tune of any music and so another batch danced to ‘balle balle’. The little dancers came onstage to invoke God’s blessing for rains through an Aati dance.

Tr Clara Maria emcee for the programme kept the audience content. With genuine appreciation Tr Sumana delivered the vote of thanks.
