BMW G310R Launch Delayed For Indian Market

Jul 22: Due to constraint over the supply of the parts, BMW G310R launch will be delayed for the indian market. Though produced in India by its partner TVS, it will be launched first in western markets and indian launch may happen only in 2017.

BMW Motorrad and TVS Motors joined hands to produce BMW G310R in India. The model is getting manufactured in Hosur, near Bengaluru. Brand owners are planning to export this robust bike in countries like Europe, Australia, and other Asian countries. G310R is one of the most expected

Some of the salient features of this bike are:

1. G310R will be powered by a 313 cc, liquid-cooled engine that develops 34 BHP @ 9,500 rpm
and 28 Nm of torque @ 7,500 rpm. The bike is mated with a six-speed gearbox

2. Moreover, it consists of a 300 mm disc brake at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear. Dual channel ABS gives the rider total control over the bike

Youngsters are vehement about quarter litre sports bikes and seeing this zeal in Indian customers, many eminent and distinguished automobile companies have launched or planning to launch some enthralling bike models so that they can drag more customers towards their products. BMW G310R will take on the KTM Duke 390R and Mahindra Mojo once launched.
