Mangaluru, Sep 10: Daijiworld Group, which has already created a niche for itself in the web, print and visual media in the coastal belt of Karnataka, on Thursday September 10 achieved yet another milestone, with the inauguration of its state-of-the-art Audio-Visual Studio, its fourth venture, at Daijiworld Residency, Bondel here.

Singer-composer Siddharth Mahadevan, son of the famous Shankar Mahadevan, graced the occasion and switched on the system.

Congratulating Daijiworld on its new venture, Siddharth said, "I am really honoured to be here. It is a world class facility that Daijiworld has set up here, as good as any studio we work in for our films. I think such a studio was long overdue in Mangaluru. All music directors will be very happy coming here, and considering their 5.1 future setup, it is going to be great. I wish all the best to Daijiworld Audio Visual and hopefully this will become one of the biggest studios in this region."

The new studio, set up under Daijiworld Audio Visual Pvt Ltd, was blessed by Fr Andrew D'Souza, parish priest of St Lawrence Church, Bondel.

In his message, Fr Andrew D'Souza said, "I congratulate Daijiworld and everyone who has worked for this, and specially Walter Nandalike. Daijiworld is doing very good work. As a parish priest I know how much everyone is interested in Daijiworld."

Appreciating Daijiworld for its team work, he said, "One good thing about Daijiworld I appreciate is the coordination and unity in its team. Everyone, whether in website, TV or weekly, works hand-in-hand and the beautiful coordination is a message to all people, and I wish that it continues. Daijiworld is able to give something new and latest to the people and it can reach out to them. It is capable of doing anything. Daijiworld has never failed in whatever it has undertaken. This is not only my opinion but also the opinion of the people. I wish all success to Daijiworld and its new venture."

Addressing the gathering Daijiworld founder Walter Nandalike said, "I must thank Fr Andrew D'Souza who is close to us spiritually also. Last year he had blessed our corporate office, then our television studio and now our audio-visual studio, so I feel if he blesses anything, it will be a success."

He also thanked and lauded Daijiworld director (operations) and MD of Daijiworld Audio Visual Pvt Ltd Melvyn Rodrigues, and directors of Daijiworld Audio Visual Nelson Rodricks and Ashith Pinto. He also specially thanked Daijiworld Media director Victor D'Souza for designing the studio.

Ace emcee Leslie Rego compered the event and briefed about the services offered by the studio.

Vicar general of Udupi diocese Msgr Baptist Menezes, PRO of Udupi diocese Fr Denis D'Sa, Air India Mangaluru station manager Nagesh Shetty, CA Nithin Shetty, Eric Ozario, Louis Pinto, Stany Alvares, and many others graced the occasion.

After the formal inauguration, the studio was open for guests till 5 pm the same day.

I sincerely congratulate Walty baab on achieving this super milestone.

I have always wondered and enjoyed the breathtakingly rich sound of Jagjit Singh's music (mostly recorded in Western Digital, Mumbai). I do hope DW sound quality will surpass it. And why not?

    All the best.

Here is Walter once again - A MAN ON THE MOVE. Success always succeeds success. Here is what determination and hard work can do. A small venture which was started fifteen years ago has indeed made rapid strides towards success. All the progress and achievements would never have been possible had it not been for Walter's determined - TIRELESS efforts. THE MAGNIFICENT DAIJI BUILDING in Bondel speaks for itself and spells out what Walter stands for.

Daijiworld media - perhaps is the leading internet media and it is good to see that A MANGALOREAN has been responsible for THE SUCCESS story. Apart from the readership profile of Daijiworld, Walter is providing lucrative jobs to scores of people and indeed Daiji is also a training ground for amateurs.

Waltie... as I said before - YOU HAVE SET YOUR FOOT ON THE LADDER OF ADVANCEMENT. .. and you have never looked back. You have almost reached the topmost rung of the ladder and then WHAT???? I have a faint suspicion that you will not stop there because SKY IS THE LIMIT FOR YOU.

It is good to see you with the entire clan. May you and the clan be blessed.
