Mangalore: Education Camp for Students of Gatti Community Begins

Mangalore, Feb 4: “Students should make the best use of education camps to pursue higher studies that will shape their better future,” said Jeevandas Gatti Kurnad, principal, Vivekananda Pre-University College, Puttur.

He was speaking at the three-day education camp that was underway at Rama Bhajan Mandir, Kotipadav, Konaje, from Friday February 3.  It was organized by the Gatti community of Belma Magane Committee.

Kurnad said that the existing education set up has ample opportunities for the students.  He also urged the students to make the optimum use of education camps organized by social welfare and voluntary organizations to help prepare annual exams.

Gatti community veterans Harischandra Gatti Naigaru and Narayan Gatti Meldaru inaugurated the education camp.

Padmanabha Gatti welcomed the gathering.  Hariprasad Gatti Konaje proposed the vote of thanks.  Smitha Rajesh Gatti and Soumya Raghavendra compered the programme.
