Udupi: Taluk Unit of Mangalore University All College Students’ Union Inaugurated

Udupi, Aug 26: “The student’s union should take a bold stand on addressing the various educational issues of students,” urged Karnataka All College Students’ Union president and judicial advisor Dinakar Shetty.

He was speaking after inaugurating the taluk unit of Mangalore University All College Students’ Union for the academic year 2011-12 during a function held at Motherland auditorium, Brahmavar, on Wednesday August 24.

“Protests will be held to rectify the lapses in the semester method.  An effective educative programme will be held against the drug menace and plans are underway to organize district level sports meets,” added Shetty.

B B Prabhu, Sagar, Nemiraj Shetty, Dhiraj K Shetty, Mangalore University All College Students’ Union president Vinay, executive president Pradeep, general secretary Mohammed Anjum, secretary Shashank Shivattaya H, vice president Anand, Kartik, Kishan Shetty, joint secretary Mohan, Punitraj Shetty, sports secretary James D’Silva, taluk president Dhwaraka, Kundapur taluk president Sujan Shetty, and Karkala taluk president Balaji were present on the occasion.
Manoj welcomed the gathering while Sunil proposed the vote of thanks.
