Udupi, May 17: As the Mines and Geology department is clearing the sand from CRZ and non-CRZ limit river beds, the district administration is providing the sand for the public and development works through the E-Sand application.

As the district administration received complaints from the general public on sand mining, temporary sand license holders, contractors, vehicle owners, and drivers should obtain passwords and user IDs from RANE T4U company. Public, Revenue, Police, RTO, and other departments, through EM application, can view the movements of the vehicles which transport the sand.
