Karkala: Admissions open for MSc in A & OTT, MIT and MLT at Nitte

Karkala, Apr 1: Nitte Deemed to be University has started master degree (Msc) in Anesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology (A & OTT), Medical Imaging Technology (MIT) and Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) (Haematology and Blood Transfusion) from last academic year.

Students who have completed their BSc degree in these categories can apply for the Masters courses. Candidates who obtained this two year Masters degree can work in teaching and technician posts in allied health sciences institutions across the country and abroad. There is more scope and vacancies for such professionals of Anesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology and Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) sections, as these courses are not offered frequently in south states.

Master in Anesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology is the rare course which is available in Nitte University. Also MLT course which is offered in our institution is the specialization in the field of Haematology and Blood Transfusion.

There is an exceptional demand for technical staff (technicians) working as doctor’s assistants. Their significance in medical service is unparalleled.
