Mangaluru: Milagres College hosts valedictory function for add-on courses

Mangaluru, Mar 30: The valedictory function for add-on courses of Milagres College for the academic year 2018-19 was held on March 30.

The add-on courses namely IPR, Craft & Embroidery, Photography, Beautician, Culinary Arts, CA/CPT, French Spoken English, Soft Skills, Dramatics, Tally & Basic Computers were conducted for enriching the knowledge of students.

Fr Michael L Santhumayor welcoming the gathering said that these add-on programmes are based on value addition to their academic credentials.

The resource persons Fr Francis Assisi, Prof Lourdusamy, Harina J Rao, Dylan Rebello, Rajeev Shenoy, Sharmine Rego, Marie D Souza, Jasmine Serrao, Denzil D Costa and the add-on coordinator Wilma Fernandes were present on the dais.

The resource persons sharing their experience said that add on courses of such kind will enhance the students' knowledge in skill development toward gainful employment other than their usual curriculum.

The student representatives, Savio Jerome D‘Souza CPL of the college gave his feedback regarding the add-on courses. The students were awarded with certificates of participation by the resource persons.
