Karkala, Mar 29: NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte with the objective of 'training students from their first year of Engineering by involving them in 'project based learning and converting their prototypes into viable products', will on April 1 come up with the tenth edition of the event ‘Elixir - 2019’, transforming ideas into reality.

More than 100 projects involving mostly first year students will be exhibited.

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte started its journey of 'Elixir'- a student hobby project in 2011 aiming at 'transforming ideas into reality'.

This platform facilitates Engineering students to improve on their ideas and learn Mathematical equations by building workable models. Learning through building models is introduced in the 1st year itself that will ignite Engineering spark which will help students build better Engineering career.

This year, is the tenth edition of the event and will be inaugurated by N Vinaya Hegde, chancellor, Nitte (deemed to be university), president, Nitte Education Trust.
