Mangaluru, Mar 28: Shakthi Residential School will hold a summer camp ‘Shakthi can create’ in the school premises from April 11 to 30. A news conference was held at Hotel Woodlands on Wednesday, March 27 in this connection.
“The camp will be held from 8 am till 5 pm. Yoga, drawings, crafts, cartoons, creation of mask, foam art, creations from clay, vorli art, greeting cards, preparation of kites, rangoli, veda maths, mimicry, human resources training, leadership training, public speaking, beautiful handwriting, paper cutting, metal idols, janapada singing, dances, skits, storytelling and listening, shadow art, magic, wild animals, art from lime, radio sarang demonstration, kite flying on sea shore, picnic and other activities will be held in the camp.
Well known resource persons of the land, P N Acharya Manipal, Venky Palimar, Permude Mohan Kumar, John Chandran, Dinesh Holla, Veena Srinivas, Sudheer Kavoor, Poornesh P, Rathnavathi J Baikady, Sachita Nandagopal, Gopalakrishna Delampady, Ramesh Kalmady, Premanath Marne, Maim Ramadas, Arun Kumar Kulai, Pattabhirama Sullia, Rachana
Kamath, Muralidhar Kamath, Nadashree, A G Sadashiva, Mahesh Rao Udupi, Surekha Kavatharu, Rajesh Srivana, M S Hebbar, Bykady Janardhan Achary, Naseem Banu, Vidya Kamath G, Rajeshwari, Prashanth, Ganesh Kudroli, Ashley, Harish Achary Thokkottu, Sunder Thodar, Sahana Thodar, Shivashanker, Vineeth and others will guide the students.
The camp will be held in three groups of 1st to 4th standard, 5th to 7th standard and 8th to 10th standard. Both boys and girls can take part. School bus facility will be arranged from important junctions during the camp. Food and snacks will be served,” said school teacher Vidya Kamath G in the news conference.
