Mangaluru: Yenepoya Dental College holds day-long CDE programme

Mangaluru, Mar 28: The department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Yenepoya Dental College conducted a One day CDE programme on ‘Radiographic Interpretations: Basics to Beyond’ on March 23 at Yenepoya Dental College auditorium, Yenepoya University.

Dr B H Sripathi Rao, dean YDC inaugurated the CDE programme. Registrar of the Yenepoya (Deemed to be) University, presided over the function and delivered a note on Importance of CDE. Dr L K Chatra organising chairman welcomed the gathering. Dr Prashanth Shenoy, Senior professor of the department rendered the vote of thanks.

Guest lectures on ‘Interpretations: Basics to Beyond’ was delivered at 10.15 am onwards in two sessions. First session Dr Keerthilatha Pai, dean, Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal gave a lecture on Basics Interpretation of Radiograph which was of immense have to practitioners and academicians alike. Dr Vishwanath Reddy, radiologist, of Yenepoya Medical College, specialized in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, delivered a guest lecture on ‘Role of MRI in Maxillofacial Region and its relevance to Dentistry’.



The CDE was well attended by over 187 delegates from neighboring colleges within Karnataka and Kerala. CDE programme came to an end at 1.15 pm followed by lunch.
