Mumbai, Nov 14 (IANS): Television actor Kartikey Malviya is all set to play Chandragupta Maurya in an upcoming TV series. The child artiste says he is very excited to essay the character of the mighty king of Magadha.
The actor has also gone through extensive physical training for the shooting of some action sequence in the show. So sharing his experience, Kartikey said in a statement: "Yes, it is tough for someone like me to fight a wrestler triple my size, but I enjoyed the whole scene thoroughly. I found it adventurous and extreme, and that's where the excitement was. I enjoyed every bit."
"'Chandragupta Maurya' has given me so many such opportunities where I get to explore my strong side and get to do a lot of stunts," added the ‘Karmphaldata Shani' fame actor.
Produced by Siddharth Tewary, the historical drama "Chandragupta Maurya" is starting on Sony Entertainment Television on Wednesday.
