Ant McPartlin returns to Twitter

London, Sep 21 (IANS): Popular television presenter Ant McPartlin has returned to micro-blogging site Twitter after taking a break from social media following his drink-drive arrest earlier this year.

The "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here" presenter, who has stepped down from his hosting duties after returning to rehab, was replying to a funny post shared by "Britain's Got Talent" judge David Walliams, reports mirror.co.uk.

Walliams shared a 113-year-old throwback black and white photograph of Queen Mary standing with her sons Prince Edward and Prince Albert.

He then compared himself to the monarch while likening the queen's sons Edward and Albert to McPartlin and actor Dec in the tongue-in-cheek caption.

After seeing the post, McPartlin replied "brilliant" along with a crying with laughter emoji.

Earlier this year, McPartlin got involved in a three-car collision and was charged with drink-driving and later announced that he would be going back to rehab to seek more treatment for his addiction problems.
