Mumbai, Jul 31 (IANS): Actor Godaan Kumar, who played Janhvi Kapoor's brother in "Dhadak", says the film is very close to his heart.
"People are liking my work in the film. Hence, this film is very close to my heart and I really enjoyed playing the character," Godaan said in a statement.
Recalling the time when he met his co-stars Janhvi and Ishaan Khatter for the first time, he said: "I was to do rehearsal with the director and the lead actors. During our first meeting, I found her (Janhvi) very simple and supportive.
"While shooting, she was very interactive and sincere. The best part is that she coordinates well with her co-actors. In some of the scenes, we felt the real brother and sister bond on set."
He had kind words for Ishaan too.
"He is a great actor," said Godaan.
