Modi will be responsible if anything happens to dad: Lalu's son

Patna, Nov 27 (IANS): A day after the NSG cover for former Union Minister Lalu Prasad was withdrawn, his son Tejashwi Yadav said on Monday Prime Minister Narender Modi will be held responsible if anything untoward happens to the RJD chief.

"If anything happens to Lalu Prasadji, Modi will be responsible and blamed for it," Tejashwi Yadav, Leader of Opposition in the Bihar assembly, said.

Tejashwi said his father Lalu Prasad was on the hit list of some vested interests who could murder him.

He said while small-time leaders of the National Democratic Alliance have been provided security, that of Lalu Prasad has been pared down. "It is a dangerous trend," the former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister said.

Tejashwi said Lalu Prasad had been visiting different parts of Bihar and was surrounded by hundreds of people.

According to police sources, Lalu Prasad's Z Plus security has been downgraded to Z category.

Now, he will be guarded by Central Reserve Police Force commandos especially trained for VIP security rather than National Security Guard.

The central government has also withdrew the Z Plus security of former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.

    In India, security is provided to high-risk individuals by the police and local government. Individuals under the security blanket include President, Vice-President, Prime-Minister, Supreme Court and High Court Judges, Governors of State, Chief Ministers, Cabinet Ministers.

    Now former Cabinet and CM Lalu Prasad security withdrawn , let PM Modi Home Minister explain under which category Baba Ramdev getting Z+ security whose empire is growing to Rs40,000 crores?

    How did Uttar Pradesh lawmaker Sangeet Som, accused of inciting riots in Muzaffarnagar, has been given top level security by the Narendra Modi government?

    Mr Som has 11 policemen protecting him. He will soon have around 22 security guards and bulletproof cars after the home ministry upgraded his security cover to 'Z' category, just one level below union ministers and Chief Ministers.

    After Baba Ramdev, the Centre has accorded 'Z' Category VIP Security Cover to Mata Amritanandamayi, popularly known as the hugging saint. It is also extend Y- Security for Nita Ambani along with her multi billion Dollar husbands Z-Security.

    The nation wanted to 'Ramdev' who himself venturing into the private security business need government cover on citizens tax pay money when nation need desperately to protect women who get abused every 15 minutes?

    Why can't Ambani, Adani can have their own private security when they can afford for it?
    Do the 'hugging saint' need Z+Plus security?

    Do PM Modi's Home ministry know what is the priorities of its government? Why the common citizen of India need to bare private person security who doesn't even qualify for it?

    Please strip security of every useless politicians and make them as simple as common man.I also request you to cut off unwanted allowances too.

    I dont want our taxes to be used by these. Let them spend from thier own pocket.
