Modi greets Nagaland on Statehood Day

New Delhi, Dec 1 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted the people of Nagaland on their Statehood day.

"Best wishes to the people of Nagaland," Modi said in a statement here. "I hope Nagaland scales new heights of progress in the years to come."

Nagaland became a state on December 1, 1963.
